Halloween 2020 is not cancelled despite the pandemic. Though Halloween might look a little different this year, hope is not cancelled. Take a look at a few tips to help riders stay safe tonight.

Keep distancing

Due to the current situation, we need to keep social distancing with others. Under this case, if you have a bike or electric bike, that would be better. Because it will not only meet your needs to go outdoors but also help you keep a proper distance from the crowd.

Preparation for night cruising

First, make a safe route for the night riding. Then, you had better put on thick clothes, trousers, gloves, and a hat. Protect your immune system and keep healthy.

Secondly, check your ebike before cycling. Best practice suggests checking the battery, brakes, headlight, rear light, and bell of your bike.

Thirdly, assemble something reflective such as reflective bars on your bike(of course it would be fine if the bike has its own reflective tapes.

Lastly, carry the necessary equipment. The helmet is an important protective equipment when you ride your bike. And a flashlight can be an urgent need when there is trouble with your bike at night. If you take many things you need, it is a great idea to put them into your back bag.

In a word, plan out your route beforehand. Check your E-bike before riding. Give a quick check of the battery, brakes, both the headlight and taillight, give your bell a ring and you’re ready to roll. 

 

Proper hygiene is the key

Wash your hands with soap and water to prevent transmission. Have you forgotten the basic steps to prevent from being infected?

Always remember to keep your hands away from your mouth and your face too. Hand washing is key to staying safe. 

Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap.
Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.
Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.
