I researched e-bikes for months before deciding and I decided on the KBO bikes. Just got them but so far not regretting my decision. High quality components including leather hand grips with hand stitches (my personal favorite). So smooth and fast. Sleek and elegant but cool as hell. My bike is iridescent orange with flat black fenders. Can’t wait for summer rides.

5 months and 2,000 miles later I’m quite happy with my decision to get a kbo ranger. I really debated about going with kbo vs rad but this bike has been solid. Given the savings on gas and car wear and tear it’s just about paid for itself and I’m much happier and healthier. My early arthritis knee issues are completely in remission from the added exercise and I’m staying out of gridlock which helps keep my blood pressure down. This bike has no issues carrying a trailer, my work equipment or my kids. It’s not super fast (I tell people it’s really a class 2) but it’s tough and strong. I use it for gardening, groceries, work, school drop off and more. So far the maintenance has been quite routine, 2 spokes, break pads once, and patched one flat. I purchased a new set of tires because the tread is getting a little thin but I haven’t had to put them on yet. I have two batteries so I can run down to 0 and extend my range to a true 70 miles under load. They are performing well. The quality and safety of the Samsung battery was one of the reasons I went with kbo. Also all the little extras on the frame are great. You don’t fully appreciate these at first but they are really important. The zip tie brackets are perfect. When you have to change out a tire, they let you reassemble identical to new, which not all ebike designs make easy. This makes wire management simple for the entire life of the bike. It’s like an old Ford pickup where you can fix everything yourself. I did add a defloppullator (under front rack) and upgraded the seat post. I also added a water bottle holder (corner of the front rack). I also added a second front light to deal with a really dark wooded path through the winter. My initial concerns about the shifter and mechanical disc break quality level have totally gone away. They work just fine. Not fancy but not lacking in functionality in any way. It’s not as flashy or quick as my Cannondale ebike but it’s a solid workhorse and a great deal! It is my go to bike even when I don’t need the carrying capacity.

Loving our new bikes! Took our KBO Breeze bikes on the West Orange Trail near Winter Garden. They worked great, especially when he went on the hilly Lake County Trail in error first!

I had a double lung transplant 5 years ago and had been jealous of people using the greenway. I couldn’t walk the greenway bc of a sciatic nerve issue in my left leg. So I got the step thru and I have over 600 miles now. It is also the best physical therapy for me ( my doctor wants me to work my lungs). This bike is helping me extend my life!!!

I love how easy the step through is and the height of the bike is perfect. I’m a fan of being able to easily put my foot flat on the ground, not my tippy toes. I’m 5’7” for reference. My husband is 6’2” and he had a big smile on his face riding it and he said the power is great and it’s really fun to ride. I go to the post office each day with a load of packages, so the ranger is perfect for that trip! For now, I’m bungee cording my USPS mail container to the back. Keeping it classy.

I love riding bikes again. I had ACL surgery a couple years ago, where they stripped my hamstring to reconstruct it. I was never able really mountain bike or road bike again, the same. This bike made it possible for me to fall in love with cycling again.

I bought a KBO Breeze to replace a homemade eBike I have been using for 2 years. I am really pleased with the new KBO. I am 6'4" and 230 pounds, the bike is very comfortable for my size. I like the larger tires, the heavier frame,and the bigger battery that my new bike offers over my old eBike. I actually have less money invested in my KBO bike than I had in my homemade eBike. I am very pleased. My decision to purchase the KBO came after several weeks of extensive research in almost all available bikes in price up to $4000.

KBO Breeze improved my life!

I have it for about a week now and I think it’s fair to say that it changed my life!  I feel calmer now, the exercise early in the morning on my way to school improves my mood, you know, all the endorphins do wonders for your mindset on my way to university I have to go over many hills, its not an easy road, so the assist function helps me to get to class without arriving there, looking exhausted. I can also use the 7 gears to make my ride easier.

I couldn't be more pleased. It's really worth the wait.
Received the bikes on friday and took me about 30 minutes to assemble one bike for my wife and one for me. I'll have to say that I enjoy a lot of the features about the bike especiallly the step through feature as an almost 70 year old. It's a big plus to have a bike that's easy to get on and off. It's just a breeze to drive and ride.
