Hello, I am from Grand Terrace, California. I want to share the newest addition to our family, 2 KBO step-through bikes. I received the bikes on Friday. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble each bike, one for my wife and one for me. I will have to say that I enjoy a lot of the features of the bike, especially the step-thru feature. As almost 70 years old, I think it's a big plus to have a bike that's easy to get on and off.
The bike has a lot of great safety features, with the lights on the front and the rear. They work well. We drove them even into the evening last night and throughout town. It's just a breeze to drive and ride. The brakes also work well, only some minor adjustments on the fender when I put them on.
Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. We ordered the bikes with $150 discount, and I will have to say it really was worth. Some of the nice accessories were the rear viewer mirrors, which I think are really great for safety. And through KBO, they have this nice bag for the bike, which holds your cell phone and any accessories like wallets or keys or whatever when you're around town. I added a rear rack on my bike because I am going to use it instead of the car to go to the grocery store and go shopping quite a bit throughout town. So it's going to save me on gas, and it's going to allow me to exercise.
On the rear of the bike, you will see there is a light that flashes when you use the brake. And if your headlamp is on at night, the light will always be on, but of course, flashes when you are braking. So it gets very good attention and visibility for safety. Shifting with a Shimano 7-speed shifter, the alter is really smooth, and it works very well. The hand throttle works well as well as the display, which allows you to go one through five assist levels on pedaling besides using the throttle.
I am excited to go on some longer rides looking forward to those trips. We will see you out on the road. Double KBO Breeze Step-thru, double your fun.
