Best bang for the buck with bonuses

Anyone who wants to spend more than 2K on an electric cargo bike can go ahead and do it if they have the means and desire to spend their hard earned money. But, it's not necessary given the KBO Ranger does it all and more for 1699 tax included. This is my 2nd electric bike and 6th bike overall, but it is my #1 go to at all times. It rides like a more compact dirt bike with its 20" wheels and low dynamic profile. It zooms past road bikes with its pedal assist and cruises at a respectable speed, oftentimes, surpassing the flow of traffic on busy city streets. I ride regularly with my two young boys on back (wear your helmets, folks). We have been to every park in the area plus off road bike paths and even through fields with the highly capable 3" tires. I don't worry at all about speed bumps or rocks and gravel as they're beefy enough to handle them. I think the only thing I would change about the bike is it's name, KBO. Having initials is nice and I know it's an acronym, but it's dull and hard to remember. I covered my graphics with large matching mountain stickers. Nobody knows what I ride and every RadWagon, Packa, Yuba and Surly Cargo owners in my area drool over my sweet add-ons I purchased with the difference in cost. Buy this cargo bike if you're looking for the most affordable, yet highly capable, and well-designed bike without showing off your exposed battery. It makes sense and I use it over my electric vehicle as much as possible. Happy riding, everyone!

First Ride of the Season

Love my new KBO Cargo Ranger. The weather has finally broken and I rode it to the beach and back 22 miles this week. The bike handles great and is easy to get on and off. It drew quite a lot of attention and several people wanted to know more. So far its a great product and great service.

Excellent bike to haul cargo

I just picked up my bike at KC in Traverse City and brought it to Mackinac Island. I was looking for a bike that could haul cargo, as cars are banned from Mackinac and I have to haul a lot of stuff to my cottage. This bike is exactly as it is advertised. It is built well, comfortable and hauled a loaded up cart with ease. Love the orange color too! You reps at KC did an excellent job and I will be send many referral orders to them. Thank you.

I want to buy one in September, after I do I'll give a full review. I am 51 years old and I have never had a drivers license. I ride everywhere.

Solid fun, great value..

Got my orange Ranger a few weeks ago (family named him Julius), and am amazed. I'm a large guy (notice I didn't say 'tall') and just for giggles I rode it at full throttle no peddling to test range under those conditions, and made it about 25 miles - half the time with groceries on the back - which I think is AMAZING given the beefiness of the bike and rider. I'm riding it now at level 4 (out of 9, there is a Youtube video to change the levels from 5 to 9 for more control) which means peddling with some tension but not a lot, to keep at 14-ish mph). I've gone around 8 miles (in Florida so largely flat) and the battery meter hasn't budged. Haven't found a way to remove the speed limiter yet...

Note that a couple 10" rubber bungee cords strapping the bottom of a cheap $4 milk crate to the back rack is perfect for hauling a couple bags of groceries...I haven't tried anything on the front yet (** the KBO front rack looks awesome but soooo expensive...I'll wait for a sale (hint))!
